Church and School Links

The church maintains strong links with Morgan’s Vale and Woodfalls Church of England School, next door to the church. Members of the church congregation take part by regularly reading Bible Stories at the Open the Book Assemblies and also visit to listen to children reading individually.

The school has services and assemblies in the church and the community room is available for school use.

Our church together with St Mary's presents every school leaver the gift of a Bible.

Links with the Community

There is a service held at Woodlfalls Care Home once a month which is organised on a rota between St Birinus, St Mary's and Woodfalls Methodist Church.

Additionally St Birinus provide a monthly mid-week Holy Communion Service for those who wish to attend.
United services take place on 5th sundays of the month, alternating between St Birinus, St Mary's and Woodfalls Methodist Church.

An annual Ecumenical supper is held each spring, with a visiting guest speaker.

Co-operation between the churches continues with the sharing of Lent Courses, issuing and distribution of a Christmas leaflet and the annual Christian Aid appeal.
