Fundraising Events

A number of fundraising events are held throughout the year – a Christmas Bazaar, a Summer Garden Party, Jumble Sales and Charity Stalls at Salisbury market, which are well supported. These are very social events and help is always welcome.

Homemade and delicious preserves, marmalades and chutneys are available at all our fundraising events. Similarly donations of surplus fruit, vegetables, or glass jam jars are very welcome.

Charities Supported

A number of charities are supported through the year:

	Trussell Trust There is always a collection box in the church for packet and tinned food and the harvest gifts are donated.
	Children’s Society Every Advent a Christingle service for children is held – alternating between St Birinus and St Mary's churches.
	Deanery Mission Project This year the churches in our deanery are supporting Salisbury Morning Star.
